I love using my light while at work. I work nights and it is so perfect so I don’t have to blind my patients at 2am when I have to give meds blood draws etc. all of my coworkers ask about it too. Only downfall is I wish it was rechargeable or changing the batteries.
Very convenient for entering patient rooms at night, so I don't have to 'blind them' with the overhead light. I can just do what I need to do and let them rest.
It’s wonderful! Now I can enter a room do what is needed with less disturbance to the patient. We all know that rest is vital in returning to your normal activities and life… well now I can do my small part with less disturbance to that vital reat!
I am a night nurse who tries to minimize disturbing my patients sleep. This light hangs easily from my ID badge and provides more than enough light to perform my assessments and charting by the bedside. I highly recommend this device which benefits both caregiver and patient.
By far the most resourceful piece of equipment while working nightshift. Takes my ninja skills at 3am to a whole different level!!
I gave it to some relatives in the medical profession. I hope they find it useful for letting patients sleep at night when checking stats. I use it to look underived the sink and behind computers. It is vey useful. If there were a blinking red light option, it would be useful for another relative who runs.
Wish the magnet was stronger! Have already thrown it away twice with my isolation gown
It would be great if you could direct the light where it need it the most. I’m always taking it off to direct it where I need it.
Very useful in dark rooms at night
Love it. Use it all the time!!!
I love everything about it except one small thing! I wish the magnet was stronger because when I bend over sometimes it falls off. Great product!
This is a wonderful product and my patient's love it. Would recommend it for any night shift nurse!
This has been a fantastic addition to my uniform. I use it almost every shift. I say almost because when not working the floor I share it. My primary location is ICU, but one of my coworkers loves it and grabs it all the time. She has added it to her Christmas list for her husband to get one for her. Patients have commented on it as have several physicians and respiratory therapists. I cannot say enough good things about how useful it has been especially for quick checks and hanging meds in the middle of the night. Proved invaluable during a major storm with the power out for several hours. Thank you!!
Works great when in sleeping patient rooms who you don’t want to disturb with glaring bright lights.
I've used this every night at work since I bought it. It's lightweight enough to clip on your scrub top without pulling. The only thing I dislike is that you have to click through 3 colors. I would prefer one click, one color, one click on & off.
I work at night and this is great to use in patients rooms without turning g on the bright lights
This is very well thought out. The variety of light colors is just right for getting into rooms without waking people. Many uses outside of the hospital such as checking on babies, camping. Easy to clean.
Wisest purchase I’ve made in a while. It definitely comes in handy if you don’t want to wake your patient up when you check on them or if you want to give meds without turning on all of the lights.
YOU NEED THIS LIGHT!!! I am a NICU nurse who works both day and night shift and this light has come in handy for both shifts!! It makes it so much easier to do my assessment without having to turn on huge overhead lights and risking waking up my babies!
I came across the ad for Lumify on Instagram and when it came I showed it to my son who is a MedSurg Telemetry RN. He liked it and I gave it to him and ordered another one for myself. I am a CRNA and use it in dimly lit ORs to draw up meds, assess my patients, draw blood sugars, deliver IV meds safely under drapes and sometimes light my way across the dark ORs avoiding cords across the floors. I liked it so much I brought it to the attention of my MDA and chief Anesthetist to help improve working conditions for our CRNAs. They decided to do a study with other CRNAs to trial to see if they should be purchased throughout the UPMC system.
As a pod surgical resident, we unfortunately have to round as early as 5am on our patients. I feel so bad turning on the lights just to check dressings or chat with patients trying to get sleep. The light is adequate enough to have a brief chat and check for strikethrough on dressing, but not quite bright enough for changing dressings and wound care. It is silicone, so it will pick up any crumbs or debris from your bag. Would be nice if it had came with a little storage bag to prevent this. You do have to cycle through the lights to turn off. It clips on and stay on securely to my scrub top and I forgot I was wearing it! Overall, I would say it's a great tool to have!
Had to laugh one of my coworkers thought it wasn't personal air freshener.
My lumify night light comes in very handy, I don't have to turn on the bright light in my patients room to disturb them when they are sleeping.some of my patients have even said to me, that its a nice light.
I love lumify!!! It makes night shift work so much better.. for myself and my patients! They definitely appreciate being able to provide cares without turning the big room lights on each time we enter the room for little tasks.
I work night shift in an ER that has a lot of patients held waiting for rooms upstairs. I use my lumify light every night I work to change IV bags, check sugars, turn off alarms, etc. without fully waking up my patients by turning on the lights. It is simple to use and the magnet is strong enough that it never falls off of my scrubs. I love my lumify light and I'm sure my patients appreciate it too.
Works great! Easy to wear! Accessible compared to something in the pocket. Great for task lighting during night shift.
Bought for my son. He loves it. Plans to buy more for nurse friends.
the light is very convenient.
I purchased for my daughter who is an RN. She loves it, and uses it more than she thought she would. It is very handy.
This has been a life saver for me at night! Not only when in patient rooms but to get extra light at my computer when the unit lights are turned down. I love it!
The light came off my scrub top a few times. Perhaps a stronger magnet, other than that, I love it and the patients do as well.
I work in a small free standing ED where the number of observation patient numbers have increased. I can now slip into a patient’s observation room for hourly rounding or vital signs without waking them to harsh, bright overhead lights.
I love it!!
Buying more for my staff!
I like my night light so far. I use it in patient rooms at night when they are sleeping and I need to provide care for them. I also use it at the nursing station when I need to see the small font on medication labels or in some paperwork, and the lights are dimmed at night.
Works great when you need to see but do not want to wake patient up
Works perfectly! I can see the keyboard in my patients room without straining my eyes and chart without turning on lights and waking them❤️

Such a great and helpful device. i highly recommend it!

Light choices work well it’s difficult to get to my patients quietly due to the doors creaking when opened and closed. Only difficulty I’m having w/ lumify itself is the magnet it doesn’t seem to be strong enough and continually falls off my uniform top.
The only issue I have is that the magnet could be stronger. It has slipped off my scrub top a few times.
I bought 2 for my daughter and her friend who are in Accelerated Nursing Programs.
I absolutely love my Lumify light! I’m a Visiting Nurse and it’s great for wound care and other low light settings. It has flipped off now and then. I need to hold it while putting on my seatbelt, because I wear it on my left side. All in all, I love it!!
I love my light. It's perfect for night shift.
I work nights off and on. I love not having to turn on the over headlight to see. I use the soft blue light a lot for bs checks at 5am.
I love this uNight Light! It’s so much easier to use on the night shift than turning on bright lights in my patients’ eyes.
Love how I don’t need to bother my peds patients while sleeping with any harsh light and still see in the dark whether to chart or work on them.
A must for all night shift workers ! Hang an iv bag while your patients stay fast asleep! I was one of the first to try one when they came out & have also purchased as gifts for my RN night shift friends ! Love it
This thing is my best friend! As a new grad, this has really added to my nursing practice. Thank you!
I like this light, it comes in handy when I’m making my rounds and the patient has all the lights off. However, I did have a difficult time trying to figure out the best place to keep it. It was too heavy for my badge, it would not stay on my lab coat with the magnet. I ended up putting a safety pin on my jacket and securing it with that. I would if given 5 stars if the securement of this device had been better
Really like t he light I can get in and out or residents room with out having to turn on a light I use to trip over t the landing mats
Several nurses at my job have purchased this after I got mine.
Tremendous help on the floor I tell the kids it my Ironman Arc reactor
Wonderful product and even better customer service.
Love my lumify light. Keeps me working and my my patients asleep.
Works awesome during night shift! Just enough light to do what I need without disturbing the patient's too much. Great purchase!!
I work night shift in Labor and Delivery. I saw Lumify on Facebook and looked into the product because I have a hard time seeing the keyboard in patients rooms, I bought it about a month ago and it is fabulous!
I'm a dayshift nurse at a TBI/Post Acute facility for peds. I recently started picking up night shift to help out, and even though our lights have dimmers, turning them on in the middle of the night with each med pass or tube feed tends to startle the kids which sometimes causes seizures. I've worn it on several shifts now and it's a very handy gadget. I love mine. It has become part of my nightshift uniform. Buy it! It's super cool to have illumination (3 different colors, btw!) without the obnoxious overheads.
I have been a night nurse for 15 years and have struggled with caring for my patients in the dark so they are able to rest. This little light has been a game changer for me... it will fit on my sleeve so I can flush and change IV lines with ease... see the computer keyboard in the room... check foleys ... much better than having to hold a penlight. The magnet was pure genius. Thank you so much!!! I do love it!!!
Nice item to have!
Great product and service
What a great tool! It even has 3 settings. Love it. Highly recommended.
I really didn't know how much I needed this until I did! It's as indispensable as a stethoscope & wrist cuff. I'm getting this for all my CNA's
I wanted to use this for a bit before leaving a review. I’m an ICU nurse and this light is AMAZING!!! Seriously, it has helped so much especially with the little bitties that sundown so terribly and it’s great to not disturb them while they sleep their few precious moments in the ICU. Really, amazing!
I love this. I no longer have to turn on the patients bright light and wake them.
Works great! Love having a light on me that I can use for night cares and not having to turn everything on!
I genuinely like this product and have had many nurses ask what it is and how to get one, so I direct them here. My only wish was I’d like it a tad brighter! But great gadget!!!
I loved using this light at my last contract. The hospital I was at had terrible lighting so trying to do anything on night shift was impossible. I loved the red light. It made it so easy to slip into my patients room & check a monitor or give them a medication without having to startle them awake with the overhead lights.
This was a gift purchased for and given to my favorite nurse that I work with. She uses it all the time and loves not having to turn on the overbed lights to care for her patients.
I LOVE my uNite Light!!! All of my co-workers want to know where I got it! A few have ordered it as well! My patients also appreciate not having the bright lights turned on at 2 a.m. when I check on them!!! Great product! Thank you!
Love this light!! Works great and the magnet is the smartest idea ever!!
I love this light! I work night shift and it’s so awesome that I can use this hands free while in a patients room and take vitals, finger sticks, check on them, and just see where I’m walking so I don’t trip before reaching a light. I love the 3 color options and that it fits right on my scrubs.
Absolutely helps night shift nursing!!!
Love it . I rarely have to turn on pt room light at night anymore
This light is a awesome for night shift!
I got these for a gift for Christmas.
Loved it! Have lost it, would like another one.
Very smart product for night shift life or home use! The light is bright enough to not wake patients up and to get the job done. Also, easy to clean! Recommend!
Handy, reliable and just the right amount of light!
Really Promotes pt sleep and helps me keep the lights off during nights! Everyone always asks where I got it from!
My pediatric oncology patients love it!!! They are always playing with my light!
I work nights and it's helps out a lot. Ty. A friend order her one after me and she got a gift with hers.
Not only do I utilize this light in my nursing career but I often find myself using the light if I get into my car or looking for something in the dark I absolutely love it!!
How do I change the battery? My light stopped working after a month. Where and what type battery does it take?
I bought it for my daughter who is a night shift RN and she loves it! She said she likes that the light gives her the opportunity to give care while patient is sleeping or lights out without disturbing the patient and having the necessary light to work efficiently. I highly recommend this product.
The little light has come in so handy for not just my healthcare job, but also during my daily life as well. When I'm out walking at night; during my estate sale job and I need to get into a space that has no lighting, etc.
LOVE LOVE LOVE my Lumify!!! It makes checking in patients during 3rd shift so much easier. Thank you!!
Having been a nightshift nurse for much of my career I knew this would be a winner the moment I saw it. As a matter of fact, I introduced it to our Administrator as a great idea for a future nurse gift/incentive. I have also shared it with the nurses I now supervise and they love it. Fantastic when you can get a product that truly helps you be the best nurse you can be.
Love it so much it works perfectly when I go into a dark room at work.
I love being able to go in a pt room at night and not have to put a light on. It helps to see righting on paper in dark rooms. I love it.
I love my light! Easy to keep on scrubs with magnet, easy to clean & love three color options! Thank you! <3
I love this thing! At first it seemed a little gimmicky but I actually use it all the time. I’m a night shift L&D nurse and we obviously try to maintain a quiet restful environment for our laboring patients. It’s so important that they sleep as much as they can while they’re able to. This little light has prevented me from needing to turn on the overhead so many times. I love being able to sneak in and check a pot or adjust a monitor without having to put lights on and wake everyone up. It’s light enough that I don’t even notice it’s been added to the collection of crap (badge, Vocera , keys, etc) that hangs from my scrub top. It’s easy to clean, and it’s super easy to use.
The uNight Light helps me keep the lights off so I don't have to wake my patients up... boom!
SO much power in such a little tool. This has definitely become a staple of mine every shift!
10 years in the medical field and this light has been a game changer for me!
